First conditional
Conditionals have two parts: an if clause and a main clause.
When the if clause comes first, we use comma between the two clauses. When the main clause comes first, we don´t use a comma.
In first conditionals, we use the present simple for the if clause and the future with will + infinitive for the main clause.

Examples:
If the weather is fine today, I´ll go into town. (be / go)
My friends will help me if I ask them. (help / ask)

Second conditional
Conditionals have two parts: an if clause and a main clause.
When the if clause comes first, we use comma between the two clauses. When the main clause comes first, we don´t use a comma.
In second conditionals, we use the past simple for the if clause and would + infinitive for the main clause.
We use the second conditional to express things that are unlikely and imaginary.

Examples:
If I won ten million crowns, I would buy a boat. (win / buy)
He wouldn´t move the house if he got a new job. (not move / get)
! If I were you, I wouldn´t do that. (be / not do)
